"Embracing the culture of R&D and innovation, Zahit Aluminium established Adana’s 3rd R&D Center, approved by the Ministry of Industry and Technology, on 08.06.2017 in order to develop innovative products and technologies for the industry with consistent R&D activities. Within the plant located in Adana OIZ, it supports the continuation of works in line with the goals such as offering value-added innovative products to existing and new markets, investing in qualified personnel, developing collaborations, and promoting the export.

In our R&D center, there are 25 researchers and technicians who are experts in their fields with a systematic working arrangement covering design, manufacturing, process development, and quality control. The fact that our team consists of undergraduate and especially graduate researchers transforms our company into an organization which is capable of innovation in global standards. Our researchers with varying educational and scientific backgrounds and knowledge develop designs, systems, products, and processes based on the needs of our country and our industry.

In a short period of time, almost 75 self-sourced & TÜBİTAK (Scientific and Technological Research Council of Türkiye) projects have been developed, 37 intellectual property rights (patent, utility model, design) have been obtained, and 34 different publications have been prepared and put at the disposal of the industry in our center. Continuing to work by ranking higher and higher in the R&D 250 research every year, our R&D Center is progressing towards its goals by placing in competitions such as İnovaLİG and the Efficiency Project Awards by the Ministry of Industry."
